    H∞ Static Output-Feedback Gain-Scheduled Control for Discrete LPV Time-Delay Systems⁎

This paper proposes new synthesis conditions to design H∞ static output-feedback controllers for discrete-time linear systems affected by time-varying parameters and time-varying delays. The design conditions are provided in terms of sufficient parameter-dependent linear matrix inequalities with a scalar parameter, being capable of synthesizing either robust or gain-scheduled controllers. The main motivations to deal with such problem are that many real-world plants can be modeled in terms of discrete-time linear parameter-varying (LPV) time-delay models and the lack of methods to deal with such systems considering an output-feedback based approach. The technique presented in this paper is quite generalist, allowing an arbitrary structure for the measured output matrix. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the synthesis conditions, tractable in terms of LMI relaxations, for robust or gain-scheduled H∞ output-feedback for LPV time-delayed systems

The interpersonal-relationship theoretical framework was used. The patient was young, 20 years old, bore a dead fetus and presented various complications. The interaction took place with her aunt (stepmother) and as to the structure, it was diagnostic, therapeutic and made it possible to establish a proposal of continuous assistance. As to content, it was possible to find the points of support given by family members and identify new facts so that the nursing team could improve the assistance given to the patient

An LMI approach for H2 and H∞ reduced-order filtering of uncertain discrete-time Markov and Bernoulli jump linear systems

This paper proposes a new approach based on parameter-dependent linear matrix inequality (LMI) conditions associated with a scalar parameter that are sufficient to provide robust and reduced-order mode-dependent, partially mode-dependent or mode-independent filters for discrete-time Markov jump linear systems (MJLS) with time-invariant uncertain transition probabilities. Time-invariant uncertainties in the state–space matrices of the modes can be handled as well. As main difference with respect to the existing approaches in the literature, the filter matrices are obtained directly from the slack variables introduced in the conditions. Moreover, the proposed conditions become also necessary for a particular choice of the scalar parameter when mode-dependent full-order filters are designed for systems without uncertainties. Additionally, for precisely known generalized Bernoulli jump systems (i.e., the case where all the rows of the transition probability matrix are equal), optimal solutions are obtained for both mode-dependent and mode-independent full-order filters. Examples (including one motivated by a practical application) are presented to illustrate the proposed approach95463471CONSELHO NACIONAL DE DESENVOLVIMENTO CIENTÍFICO E TECNOLÓGICO - CNPQCOORDENAÇÃO DE APERFEIÇOAMENTO DE PESSOAL DE NÍVEL SUPERIOR - CAPESFUNDAÇÃO DE AMPARO À PESQUISA DO ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO - FAPESP408782/2017-0não tem2014/22881-

ℋ∞ and ℋ2 control design for polytopic continuous-time Markov jump linear systems with uncertain transition rates

This paper investigates the problems of urn:x-wiley:rnc:media:rnc3329:rnc3329-math-0007 and urn:x-wiley:rnc:media:rnc3329:rnc3329-math-0008 state feedback control design for continuous‐time Markov jump linear systems. The matrices of each operation mode are supposed to be uncertain, belonging to a polytope, and the transition rate matrix is considered partly known. By appropriately modeling all the uncertain parameters in terms of a multi‐simplex domain, new design conditions are proposed, whose main advantage with respect to the existing ones is to allow the use of polynomially parameter‐dependent Lyapunov matrices to certify the mean square closed‐loop stability. Synthesis conditions are derived in terms of matrix inequalities with a scalar parameter. The conditions, which become LMIs for fixed values of the scalar, can cope with urn:x-wiley:rnc:media:rnc3329:rnc3329-math-0009 and urn:x-wiley:rnc:media:rnc3329:rnc3329-math-0010 state feedback control in both mode‐independent and mode‐dependent cases. Using polynomial Lyapunov matrices of larger degrees and performing a search for the scalar parameter, less conservative results in terms of guaranteed costs can be obtained through LMI relaxations. Numerical examples illustrate the advantages of the proposed conditions when compared with other techniques from the literature263599612CONSELHO NACIONAL DE DESENVOLVIMENTO CIENTÍFICO E TECNOLÓGICO - CNPQCOORDENAÇÃO DE APERFEIÇOAMENTO DE PESSOAL DE NÍVEL SUPERIOR - CAPESFUNDAÇÃO DE AMPARO À PESQUISA DO ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO - FAPESP2011/08312‐6não temnão te
